The Challenge: Day 6

A picture of something that makes me happy...
This is hard and easy at the same time.  I love pictures.  So many of the pictures I have make me happy!  Like this one:

It's Kathleen, Micah, Mabrie, and me.  We're at a Buddhist temple in Keller.  It's before anyone got married, before anyone had kids.  We could go to a Buddhist colony and prank call someone who posted signs about free puppies, let the conversation turn into asking for a tour of the temple, let a stranger take us up to the head priest, get a monk to take our picture (as no one had a camera but the monk) and have him e-mail it to us.  Still makes me laugh thinking about that day.

Then there's this one:

This is my dog Tut.  Charlie shaved him while I was on a trip to Dallas.  It was right before the weather was changing and I was really ticked that he shaved the dog BALD!  I went and bought him a shirt that I thought would fit him and keep him warm.  All I think it did was bruise his ego because it was too small and didn't really cover much of anything.  Oh Tut, you are so freaking cute!

Now the hard part.  I have hundreds of pictures of my kids.  The first time Kennin saw an elephant, the first time Kennin held her baby brother, them playing together... all of those make me happy.  But I think I have to settle on this one...

Me and Noel when we lived in Missouri.  I'm 17 so Noel is 15 and I think if you look very closely she still has braces.  It makes me happy because it's like the tons of pictures my mom has of us growing up and here we are in our teens acting the same as when we were 7 and 5.  : )
