A Weekend Full of Fun!

I had such a nice weekend.  Friday Curtis and I took Gray with us to go do the running around Curtis needed to do since he got laid off.  And in the process I talked him into a haircut! 

Friday night Curtis took me out for our one year anniversary while the kids stayed the night with my mom and dad.  We went to BJ's and since I've lost a pound I decided to splurge on baby back ribs and a baked potato.  SOOO good :)

Saturday we went to Kennin's soccer game, came home for a nap, and then went back up to the YMCA for a swimming party.  After the party we had to go up to The Woodlands so I could pick up a bible I ordered for a friend's baby dedication.  While we were up at the Portifino, Curtis and the kids picked out cards for me while I was in Carter's baby clothes shopping (my favorite past time).  And Curtis picked me up a net book for my mother's day gift.  I was totally shocked.  I've been wanting one for a while.

On Sunday we got up and went to church to watch Violet get dedicated.  I have to say, she was THE CUTEST baby girl up there!  I didn't get any pictures of her dedication so I'll have to wait until her momma post them.  Then we headed over to my parent's house and had my dad's famous omelets and then we let the kids play in the back yard.  It was a perfect day.

So many of my friends celebrated their first mother's day and I'm anxious to see how they spent it.  I have to say that even though this is my 6th mother's day, it was the most special to me.  I love my sweet family!
