Here we are. Getting closer and closer and I'm feeling more and more ready. Earlier this week I felt like I was running in circles... Like nothing was getting done but I just kept cleaning. Kennin and Grayson's room is DONE! Even with the outbreak of lice... Yeah, you heard right. LICE. Thank God it didn't hit all of us, just my poor Kennin. My mom and my sister also ended up having it. I have no clue where we got it from. The first treatment (over the counter) did NOTHING for Kennin. She still had eggs and live lice. So, I called her pediatrician and they called me in a prescription shampoo and on Friday night my mom shampooed her (since I can't use the chemicals) and I spent almost 3 hours going through Kennin's hair. I feel bad for Kennin but she was a good girl. She played her Gameboy for a while and then watched Netflix on my dad's phone. We'll have to treat again on Friday to make sure it's all gone. I've washed their bedding and pillows twice now, bagged their stuffed animals, washed the couch cushions, and vacuumed like a CRAZY person. I pray it's gone!
I had an ultrasound on Friday and got to see Ezra's beautiful face. My mom, Kennin, Gray, and Noel got to come and see him. Every time I've had an ultrasound, Ezra has had his hands and sometimes a foot up by his face. This time I was determined that I was going to get to see him. The key to this (at least in my head) was to get him moving. So I had chocolate Cheerios and coffee for breakfast... AND right before the tech started the ultrasound I gave my belly a good shake.
It worked! He's so cute. I think he kinda looks like Gray.
